SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER!!!!!!

June 17th was our final day of school. Pack 765 would
like to congratulate all our Scouts and their Parents for another
dynamite year! We will have a few summer activities as listed
below, and look forward to seeing return faces in September.
Enjoy your summer Scouts, you deserve it!!!

FINAL PACK MEETING/FISHING DERBY WAS AWESOME!

On Sunday, June 13th, we had our Fishing Derby and
final Pack Meeting for the summer. Another year has gone.
SNIFFLE...

Fishing began at 11am, and food, awards and PIE YOUR
LEADER followed. Pictures will be available soon as well
as a fine video of our Cubmaster as well!

Video & Pictures of the derby for this year as well as any other
events of our pack would be appreciated. Please deliver to Robb
Arbour at any of the Pack Meetings or events!

FLAG RETIREMENT CEREMONY AND KICKBALL!

Sunday, July 18, Noon: Wear your uniform for the Flag Retirement Ceremony
and bring another shirt or Class B (Pack T-shirt) for Kickball at P.D.
Graham. This is an event we are very proud of at Pack 765. We accept
donated American Flags that are ready for retirement and burn them
according to the Flag Code and the Ceremony of Final Tribute. This is
a moving and solemn ceremony that all boys should attend. The Scouts
participate in the burning and reading. It is not uncommon for passers-by
to stop and participate in the ceremony. After the ceremony, we will
proceed to the baseball fields and play kickball. All are welcome!

Ceremony will take place at Mr. Arbours House (38626 Avondale - Just
East of John Hix, 2nd House past Worchester).

SPLASH ZONE/PLAY PLANET FUN!

Sunday, August 29, Noon: Uniforms not required, Class B shirt is
requested (Pack T-shirt) if you own one. We will be going to the
Westland H2O Splash Zone and Play Planet for some late summer
fun. The Splash Park is free to everyone and is a lot of fun. It is
located behind Westland City Hall at the corner of Ford Rd and
Carlson. More information will be available as we get closer to
the date.

NEW CLASS B TEES!!!

New Class B T-shirt orders will be available to order. Price is
just $10 and is a great looking T-shirt. Made of heavyweight
cotton, it is worth more than what you will pay! Give shirt size(s)
to your leader with your payment.

TOLEDO MUDHEN INFORMATION!

Here is the website for those who would like to do the Toledo Mudhens
Scout Sleepover Days. As there are many days, it will not be a pack
outing, but an individual one. Contact Joy for any other event details.

Cub Scout Pack 765 history in Westland Michigan

Our pack is chartered by P.D. Graham Elementary School PTA,
located at 1255 S. John Hix Road, Westland, Michigan.

We are part of the Detroit Area Council's Sunset District.
This pack has been chartered by the same school since
the early 1970's, something we are extremely proud of.

We are currently "Doing Our Best" to expand our site as
fast as we can to assist all current, and incoming
Scouts to "Be Prepared" for upcoming events.

Generally, our pack meetings are held on the 3rd Monday
of each month. Den meeting schedules, and other pack
